MA and PhD courses and workshops

Normally every third year, the NSMES arranges a PhD school in some of its focal areas, inviting Nordic PhD students to come together, exchange ideas and present papers on their recent research, partake in excursions and attend lectures of internationally renowned experts and scholars. The next PhD school will be in 2027. The NSMES also arranges MA workshops to offer students abilities to network with each other, to learn about how to do research, and to hear about PhD possibilities in the Nordic countries. The next MA workshop will be in 2026.
