MA and PhD courses and workshops

Normally every third year, the NSMES arranges a PhD course or workshop in some of its focal areas, inviting Nordic PhD students to come together, exchange ideas and present papers on their recent research, partake in excursions and attend lectures of internationally renowned experts and scholars. The next workshop will be in Istanbul in August 2024. The NSMES also arranges MA workshops to offer students abilities to network with each other, to learn about how to do research, and to hear about PhD possibilities in the Nordic countries.
